#2 Bulbs (small) are 1 to 1-1/2 inches in diameter.
#1 (medium)are 1-1/2 to 2-1/2 inches.
Jumbos (large) are 2-1/2 to 3-1/2 inches in diameter.
In general, the larger bulbs produce more and bigger leaves faster than the smaller bulbs. They make a bigger plant, faster. But given more time all the bulbs will perform just as well.
